Nancy established Kitsilano Physiotherapy Clinic in 1978. She is a graduate of Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, in 1970.
After working in the Toronto Rehabilitation Centre, she travelled to work in Australia in 1971-72. She became interested in Manual Therapy, and studied in Canada in 1974-76 with David Lamb, having her RCAMPT since 1980. She chaired and organized the first Canadian Sports Physiotherapy Symposium in Vancouver in 1980. She has been active in both the Orthopaedic and Sports Physiotherapy Associations since 1977.
She has a background in treating spinal conditions and sports injuries with an emphasis on body mechanics and alignment.
She is an avid skier and hiker, and enjoys cycling, sailing and walking her dog.

Louise is a Registered Physical Therapist since 2001, providing specialty treatments and training for pain & trauma. She is Director for Vancouver Healing Centre, a Division Level 3 Orthopaedic & Manipulative Therapist, Gunn IMS practitioner, and a graduate of the AcupunctureFoundation of Canada Institute.
Presently she pursues studies in Asian Medicine.

Mark began his health care career in 1989 attending medical school in the former Soviet Union; four years later he moved to Israel and began attending the Ben Gurion University where he graduated with a degree in Physiotherapy.
He gained his clinical experience while working in a military hospital in the orthopaedic department, treating both acute and chronic conditions. In 2005 Mark also graduated from the Canadian Federation of Acupuncture. Since he has been working in private physiotherapy clinics in Kits, Point Grey and Greater Vancouver.
His areas of expertise are Knee injuries, Rotator cuff problems as well as Whiplash injuries associated with the tension headaches. He is one of only Vancouver Physiotherapists certified in hydrotherapy and aquatic rehab.

Shirley received her Master of Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia. Since graduation she has completed courses in mulligan mobilization, sahrmann’s exercise movement, patellofemoral pain syndrome and cervicogenic headaches. She is currently working towards obtaining her Diploma of Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Therapy, as well as her Anatomical Acupuncture Certificate.
When treating clients, Shirley utilizes an integrated approach of manual therapy, sport- and activity-specific exercise prescription, and client education. She also treats patients in the pool using hydrotherapy techniques. As a former competitive track and field athlete herself, Shirley enjoys working with athletes from this population. Her clinical interests include lumbopelvic dysfunction and core stabilization.
When not at work, Shirley spends her time volunteering with local track and field clubs; her hobbies include snowboarding, yoga, and running.

Igor graduated as a physiotherapist in 2007 with distinction. Since, he has been working in a variety of private practices, specializing in treatment of musculoskeletal conditions and rehabilitation of elite and recreational athletes.
In addition to extensive postgraduate training in manual therapy, Igor has special interest in Kinesio Taping and vestibular rehabilitation. He also completed acupuncture certification through Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute, which complements his previous training and experience with IMS (Intra Muscular Stimulation).
In his spare time Igor enjoys traveling, hiking, working out and just any kind of water related activity.

Gail has worked at Kitsilano Physiotherapy Clinic since 1998. She is a graduate of the University of Manitoba where she obtained her Bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation (Physical Therapy) in 1984.
She has a background in treating sports injuries, having worked as a trainer for the St. Vital Mustangs Football Club in Winnipeg for four years. Additionally, Gail was the senior therapist on the WCB service at the Health Sciences Center in Winnipeg. Gail has an interest in postural re-education and extensive experience in treating post-MVA spinal injuries.
She is an avid runner, and enjoys cycling and hiking. Gail is married with four children.
