Sarah Craswell

B.Sc, MScPT

Sarah completed her Bachelor of Science specializing in Biology and Chemistry at Acadia University in 2009. She went on to complete her Masters of Science in Physiotherapy at Dalhousie University in 2011. She is currently registered with the BC College of Physical Therapists and a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association Orthopedic Division.

Sarah has spent her years years since graduating focusing on continuing her education in manual therapy, completing Level 1-3 Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Therapy, courses in Mulligan theory and Shacklock neurodynamics. She has also studied Anatomical Acupuncture and more recently IMS (Dry needling). These courses have fit Sarah’s perspective on physiotherapy, that time should be spent finding the root cause of someone’s issue to fix a problem long term. Time is spent performing one on one hands on therapy to decrease pain, improve function and quickly return to your normal activities.

Sarah has worked in Halifax, Nova Scotia, since graduating and has worked with a variety of clients from young athletes, post operative patients, acute and chronic pain issues. Years of experience in busy private orthopaedic clinics have given her experience in a wide variety of orthopaedic issues.

Outside of work Sarah enjoys running, golfing, yoga and going on hikes with her 140 lbs Newfoundland dog Mack.

Currently on maternity leave
