Jordan Javier

Registered Kinesiologist, BSc Kin

Jordan received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (BSc Kin) specializing in Exercise Science in 2014 and is a current member of the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists (BCAK). Jordan is also certified as Clinical Exercise Physiologist with the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM-CEP). He has worked with a broad population that includes clients involved in Motor Vehicle Accidents (MVA), Return to Work Rehabilitation, Exercise Therapy for Chronic Disease Management and injury prevention and treatments for the general population and athletes with the focus of functional movement.

Jordan helps promote the profession of Kinesiology by volunteering his time in the community. He has served as a director and board member to help advance and promote the profession of Kinesiology on a national and provincial association level.

Growing up Jordan not only loved to play basketball but also enjoyed helping his family and friends achieve their fitness goals. The rewarding feeling of their accomplishments led Jordan to pursue his degree in Kinesiology. As a result of Jordan’s strong work ethic combined with a genuine passion for healing in the form of training, his career has been driven to a unique path in kinesiology.

Training Philosophy

Jordan’s two philosophies on training has always been about being client-centred and improving movement mechanics. He truly believes if you move better, you will feel better and if you feel better you’ll perform better with life’s day to day activities and sports.
